Karate is open to anyone over the age of 6 years of age. You do not need
to be fit to start training – you will become fit by taking part!
Karate will develop not only your fitness, but your co-ordination,
speed, strength, flexibility and also increase your self-confidence and
determination. Whilst karate is predominantly striking based, you will also be
trained in throwing and grappling techniques, together with locks and chokes.
We run separate children’s classes, fitness classes and also offer
Women’s Self-Defence Courses throughout the year.
Regular examinations are held for both children and adults in
conjunction with seminars taught the senior instructors of the Highland Karate
Association, Ronnie Ross, 6th Dan and Phil Owen, 5th Dan.
Training is open to new and existing students alike. Training times can
